Geauga County Farm Bureau, Geauga County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Geauga County Planning Commission presented a collaborative video project on December 20 to the Geauga County Commissioners entitled:
“Agriculture, The Geauga Way.”
This video showcases many nuances of Geauga County agriculture; large and small farm businesses and markets that show a variety of crops and livestock, as well as the role of several agriculture organizations in the county. The video will be shown as a part of the Food, Land and People curriculum in elementary classrooms throughout the county, conducted by the Soil and Water Conservation District.
The video can be seen on YouTube, as well as Geauga County Farm Bureau’s website, which is listed below. The production of the video was conducted by Lake Erie Video in Chardon.
The Geauga County Farm Bureau’s mission is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers that meets consumer needs, addresses public expectations and ensures agricultural prosperity in a global marketplace.
