Visit the Winter Bird Birding Station at Swine Creek Reservation on December 29

Be sure to stop by Geauga Park District’s Winter Bird Birding Station at Swine Creek Reservation on Sunday, December 29th, any time between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., to see some of our feeders birds netted and brought inside the toasty-warm lodge to be processed – no need to dress for outside!

Enjoy a personal, up close-look at field marks and colorful plumage not seen on the wing as the birds are measured and banded before release. All ages can enjoy this event. Also be sure to bring your camera for some awesome photo ops! And learn about what kind of feeders and seed are preferred by different species.

Swine Creek Reservation’s lodge is wheelchair/stroller accessible, and this experience is deemed one of Nature’s Not to Be Missed by park naturalists. We hope to see you there!
