Wade Into Fun at the 16th Annual Kids in the Creek

The 16th annual Kids in the Creek, an event in which people of all ages get to explore a river and its inhabitants, will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 19, at West Geauga Commons, 14070 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. The event is sponsored by Western Reserve Land Conservancy.

Participants are invited to wade in the Chagrin River, catch creatures, and identify them. Don’t forget to bring a towel, a change of clothes, and a picnic lunch. Meet at the pavilion near the park entrance.

The event is free and open to the public. The Land Conservancy is a nonprofit conservation organization that preserves natural areas, farmland, and coastal lands in northern Ohio and helps revitalize urban neighborhoods throughout the state.
