Come one, Come all to the 4 th of July Parade/Picnic held in Auburn Twp. We are requesting anyone who would like to participate in the parade to report on July 4, 2016 to the Auburn Meadows at 11 am. All spectators are to report to the parade route prior to 12:00 noon on July 4, 2016.
The parade will start at the Meadows promptly at noon, proceed south on Auburn Road to west on Washington Street into the Auburn Fire Dept. Parking is limited at the fire dept. so we have reserved the Auburn Church and New Hope Church’s parking lots for the overflow. We request your understanding and cooperation due to the new road department garage being constructed in the back field behind the fire dept.
Now that you have worked up an appetite, come join us at the fire dept. for some delightful refreshments. We will be serving hot dogs/kielbasa with sides of potato and fruit salad along with drinks. After a brief repast, catch up on the township news and tour our fire dept. There will be fire dept members to answer questions and teach the littles ones about our equipment.
We will also have fire hats for those young at heart and future firefighters. We look forward to another successful year of camaraderie of friendships new and old.
