Join Burton city officials and community members as history is made.

Craig and Lana Bednarek, owners of Warren’s Spirited Kitchen, have been working in the Northeast Ohio restaurant industry for decades. With their combined experience and passion, they thought up this warm, equestrian-themed restaurant to give the Burton community a diverse, mid-to-upscale dining experience while showing support for local farmers and culture.

The ribbon cutting ceremony, tour and cocktail hour will take place from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 22 with the kitchen open for dinner at 4:30 p.m. This sounds like the perfect opportunity to show support for both this budding local business and Burton farmers. The Bednarek’s were mindful of what it means to be part of the Burton community and have done their part to incorporate a sense of community in their menu and décor.

Owner Lana Bednarek states, “Craig and I love going out to dinner and feeling welcome. We wanted to bring that feeling and community to Burton.” She continued to explain that a sense of welcome will certainly stem from the encouragement given to the staff to get to know customers and learn their names.

I keep using the word “community.” I believe that this is truly what Warren’s Spirited Kitchen embodies. First and foremost, the Bedareks were mindful when choosing their menu. They have chosen to use local farmers as suppliers and have explained that they will be using local maple syrup, fresh cheeses, and in-season vegetables in their recipes. In addition, they have incorporated some local favorites to really make the restaurant feel like home. For example, their menu features a funnel cake dessert intended to remind you of younger days enjoying the Geauga County Fair.

As aforementioned, the décor takes an equestrian influence. Living in Punderson and owning a horse farm in Middlefield, the Bednareks wanted to not only use the culture of the area for influence but their own personal lives. The Bednareks have certainly thought a lot about what it means to live in Northeast Ohio and they hope that you can feel a sense of home when you dine in their restaurant.

Offering a variety of foods, from the traditional to the more daring, we encourage you to be part of Burton’s history by attending this Grand Opening ceremony and getting a taste of what Warren’s Spirited Kitchen is all about after cocktail hour concludes.
