Take it from a naturalist: plenty of wildlife can still be seen in the wintertime
It’s not that tough once you know where to look. Join Senior Naturalist Dan Best for Finding Life in the Dead of Winter on Saturday, January 5, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at The Rookery, Great Blue Heron Lodge, 10110 Cedar Road, Munson Township.
This program kicks off with an indoor presentation of winter wildlife survival strategies and ends with an outdoor exploration for sights and signs of winter-active wildlife among this park’s rich woodland and wetland habitats.
Activities will be wheelchair/stroller accessible indoors, but accessibility will be limited outdoors and suitable for anyone school age or older. Registration is not required. With questions, call 440-286-9516.
Geauga Park District is online, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
