What’s Up There?

Did you know Native American sky legends fill the night sky?

Get game to learn star stories told by Great Lakes tribes and other indigenous people.

Night Sky

Native American Sky Legends will take place on Fridays, September 14 and 28 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Observatory Park, 10610 Clay Street, Montville Township.

Enjoy the storytelling both in and out of the planetarium with Observatory Park naturalists Chris Mentrek and Wayne Kriynovich, then preview “the sky tonight” in the planetarium, followed by night sky viewing, if weather allows, with the Chagrin Valley Astronomical Society and its telescopes on September 28.

Registration is not required for this program, which is suitable for those school-aged and older and wheelchair/stroller accessible. Call 440-286-9516 with questions.
