Win a Zoom Call with Santa! Enter by December 5!

Moe’s Southwest Grill is Running a Contest to Connect with Santa

MENTOR, OH (November 25, 2020):  With Christmas fast approaching and so much to get done on the holiday list, one item you may be hesitant to check off this year is the traditional visit with Santa.  Always a magical time in the eyes of a child and a trip down memory lane for parents.  Though this year will be much different, that doesn’t mean the holiday magic needs to disappear.  In the spirit of Santa and the joy, generosity and unconditional love he represents, Ashley and Ryan O’Hare, owners of four local Moe’s Southwest Grill restaurants are happy to be able to maintain the season’s most cherished tradition – a visit with Santa!

The O’Hare’s, parents themselves have many family traditions surrounding Santa which include letters written to Santa, baking and decorating special cookies for Santa’s stop and a train ride to The North Pole with Santa climbing aboard for family photos.  “The holidays are a special time to create memories with Santa playing a leading role for children,” states Ashely. “Knowing the joy Santa brings to our kids, we wanted to spread that joy to others, so we created a contest to connect Santa with families.”  Through the contest, children will have the opportunity to engage in a conversation with Santa in the comfort of their own home.

The contest is being run on the Facebook pages of the Moe’s Southwest Grill locations owned by the O’Hare’s which are Mentor East, Mentor West, Mayfield Heights and South Euclid.  Each site had a November 16 Facebook post introducing the contest and will repeat the post on December 2.  To enter the contest to win a free Zoom call with Santa, simply go to the November 16 post or wait and see the December 2 post and place in the comments section a favorite holiday tradition, then “Like” and share the post.  You will automatically be entered.  The deadline to enter is 11:59 PM on December 5.  Winners will be drawn December 6 with the 5 winners notified via a Facebook message.  The Zoom call will be arranged for the week of December 7.  To personalize the call, winners once notified will receive a form through email to complete and send back, providing details Santa should know before talking to their children.

In addition to the contest, Moe’s is finding innovative ways to spread holiday cheer.  Making gift-giving easy, all stores will carry the Moe’s Mug which is a pre-packaged mug, Ghirardelli hot chocolate and a $10 Moe’s gift card all wrapped up with a holiday bow for $20.  Ready to give and perfect for friends, family, teachers and postal workers. Gift cards in any denomination are available online (moes.com) and in-store with a bonus $5 gift for the purchaser on a $25 gift card.  With the decrease in open catered lunches, the Moe’s boxed meals have been a hit already this holiday season.  Individual meals complete with a cookie dessert are the perfect way to show employee appreciation to serve the family.

“Throughout the holiday season, the health and safety of our guests and employees will remain our top priority,” states Ryan.  “We’re working hard to serve our valued customers while exceeding all CDC safety guidelines.  All of our locations are open and also offer pick-up and curbside service.”  Make the holidays merry the Moe’s way!  Visit moes.com or call 440-773-1128 for your catering needs or holiday gift giving questions.

About Moe’s Southwest Grill

“Welcome to Moe’s!” More than 20 years ago the Southwest fare restaurant opened in Atlanta, Georgia with these very words and still today, this is the greeting received when entering Moe’s because well, everybody should feel welcomed. To date there are more than 700 locations in the U.S. and abroad but here on the east side of Cleveland there are four which are locally owned and operated by the O’Hare family.  Over the last 6 years the O’Hares have grown from a single east side of Mentor restaurant in 2015 to four locations with the additional three being in Mayfield Heights, South Euclid and a second Mentor location.  Moe’s guests can create whatever they’re craving with the 20+ fresh ingredients. Famous for burritos, queso and the free chips and salsa that come with every order, the new Moe’s Build Your own Taco Kit is soon to be added to the favorites list.
