Tickets purchased online with the actual Wine Pull hosted at World Wines & Liquor
The Cash Dash & Dinner Bash reverse raffle is the annual fundraiser held to benefit Forbes House, Lake County’s only domestic violence shelter. This year’s event has gone virtual with all tickets and activities being purchased through the non-profit’s website of www.ForbesHouse.org including the popular wine pull. Though tickets are purchased online, the wine pull itself, which is sponsored by Debonne Vineyards, will be hosted at World Wines & Liquor.
“People love the wine pull as it is a fun game of chance with each participant walking away with a bottle of wine even if they did not pull one of the four specially marked bottles,” states Executive Director Kathy Strancar. Four of the 100 bottles of wine that have been donated include prizes. The top prize is a $100 bill with additional chances to win an $85 bottle of wine donated by Diana McCubbin, four fun etched stemless wine glasses designed and donated by Junie Balloonie and two tickets to Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens.
Wine Pull tickets are $20 each. Every participant takes home a bottle of wine valued between $15-$85. Once a ticket has been purchased, an email receipt will be sent to the purchaser. The receipt needs to be taken to World Wines & Liquor in Mentor (8760 Mentor Avenue) on October 5-8, during store hours, to participate in the wine pull. The staff at World Wines & Liquor will confirm participation and conduct the wine pull from the Forbes House wine rack display.
The support received from the wine pull and annual reverse raffle enables Forbes House to provide free programs and services that help empower individuals and families to end the cycle of domestic violence.
Mainboard tickets for the Reverse Raffle are $50 and are still available along with $3, $5 and $10 sideboard tickets. For all tickets and additional information visit www.ForbesHouse.org
