Winter Scout Days

Dress for the weather and explore Geauga parks to earn scouting credit

Attention scouts and parents of scouts: Geauga Park District’s winter Scout Days programs are here, and registration is now open for all of them by phone only at 440-286-9516.

Please note that all people attending, including adults, must register due to group size restrictions, and face coverings are required indoors always and outdoors whenever social distancing is not possible. Please check the website prior to visiting in case of changes.

Brownie Girl Scouts– Space Science Adventurer

Saturday, January 30, 5-7:30 PM, Observatory Park, Robert McCullough Science Center

Dress for the weather to learn about the planets, the moon, telescopes and constellations, then gaze at the stars.

Boy Scouts of America – Astronomy Merit Badge Workshop

Friday, February 19, 5-8 PM, Observatory Park

Pre-work will be required for certain requirements. An astronomy Merit Badge Counselor will be on site. Information will be emailed upon registration.

Senior & Ambassador Girl Scouts – Space Science

Saturday, February 20, 5-7:30 PM, Observatory Park, Robert McCullough Science Center

Dress for the weather to learn about careers in the space industry, telescopes, constellations and more.

Tiger Cub Scouts – My Tiger Jungle

Saturday, March 27, 1-2:15 PM, The West Woods
