Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers hosting Community/Volunteer Appreciation Day Picnic

The News-Herald (www.news-herald.com) Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers will be hosting its 17th annual Community/Volunteer Appreciation Day Picnic from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19th, at Lake House, 796 Oak St. in Painesville.

This year’s speaker will be state Sen. John Eklund who earlier this year sponsored Ohio Senate Bill 319 designed to fight Ohio’s opiate epidemic.

Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing a wide range of services for adults whose lives have been affected by their own or another’s use of alcohol or other drugs, by problem gambling or by mental illness.
