Set aside Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 10 am to 4 pm. You’ll want to be sure to take a drive over to the Mesopotamia Commons for another fantastic day of old fashioned family fun at this annual event!
The Mesopotamia Fall Heritage Day brings together artisans of traditional Amish and Yankee crafts from the greater Mesopotamia area. The event features arts and crafts vendors as well as crafters in period costume who perform outdoor demonstrations that include soap making, quilting, rag rug weaving, candle dipping, blacksmithing, leather working, spinning, and more.
There is an Amish bake sale featuring homemade Fry Pies.
There are old-fashioned quality craft sales and fun festivities that appeal to all ages, including the annual quilt raffle that is held on the premises at 3 p.m. This is a FREE event for the whole family!
For more information, call End of the Commons General Store at 440-693-4295 and ask for Scott, or Ridgeview Farm at 440-693-4000 and ask for Sharon.
