From evergreens to icicles, the beauty of the holiday season can be seen in nature. Now you can try your hand – and bring a friend to try theirs – at making some of your own unique ornaments from natural items.
Nature’s Ornaments: Make it Yourself! will be held on Saturday, November 24 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at The West Woods Nature Center in Russell Twp.
Whether you are experienced and crafty or new at this sort of thing, Naturalist Nora Sindelar’s ornament program has something for everyone. The hardest part will be deciding if you want to give your works of art as gifts or keep them for yourself!
Registration is required or 440-286-9516 for this free program that is best suited for those school-aged and older and wheelchair/stroller accessible.
