NDES Celebrates Donuts with Dad
On Friday, October 24, Notre Dame Elementary School students celebrated their fathers with Donuts with Dad. This is a wonderful tradition at NDES organized by the Notre Dame Parent Association. We are so grateful to Wendy Satterlee and her group of volunteers for planning this wonderful event and celebration.
Who Says Learning Can’t Be Fun?
NDES fourth grade STEM students are busy building switches for simple circuits in STEM class. In fact, many students voluntarily spent their recess finishing up their circuitry projects. NDES instills a lifelong love of learning through challenging activities and hands on projects.
1st Annual Colin Boland Memorial 5K Run
On Wednesday morning, October 29, NDES held the 1st Colin Boland Memorial Run in honor of Colin Boland. Colin Boland, son of John and Kelly Boland and sibling to Clare, Brendan, and Shannon, passed away in October of 2010 and was a student at Notre Dame Elementary Preschool. In memory of Colin, the Boland family started the Colin Boland Memorial Foundation which assists two families each year with a scholarship to NDES and many other charities close to their heart. Kick off the Christmas Season at the NDES 29th Annual Christmas Luncheon and Chinese Raffle
