Fine Arts Camp
This summer there will be two special, week-long fine arts camps for creative geniuses ages 10 & up at MC Art Studio and Enrichment Center in Burton. Please join us from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., the week of June 22-26 or the week of August 10-14. We will draw and paint around town, visit some art galleries and take a field trip to the art museum.
This year, our theme is “All about the Masters” and the campers will be learning about masters of the fine arts. This camp is great for students who wish to continue learning during the summer or for home-schooled students that are looking for an art requirement! Either way, all campers will enjoy a fun filled week of art apprenticeship just like the masters.
Camp prices are $50/day or $225/Week. Below is a rough schedule of what will be covered each day and a theme:
Monday – mismatched day
Art- clay
Tuesday – pajama day
Art – oil painting
Wednesday – Wacky day
Art – watercolor
Thursday – beach day
Art – collage
Friday – favorite day
Art – abstract
Each day we will create a masterpiece inspired by a famous artist including: Michelangelo, Monet, Winslow Homer, Kandinsky. Rembrandt, Picasso, Rodin, M.C Esher and more…

These camps will run Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – Noon and are open to children ages 5 & up. The cost is $170.00 per week and $155.00 for each additional sibling to attend. There is a $25 registration fee (all must register by June 15) and a late registration fee of $5.00. Limited space is available due to state licensing requirements.
Preschool Summer smARTs
Session I June 15 – 19
Session II June 22 – 26
These camps are for children ages 3-5. They run from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. The cost for Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes is $60/week. Tuesday/Thursday classes cost $45/week. To attend Monday-Friday, the cost is $90
Nature Art Camps
These camps are for children ages 3 – 5 and run the weeks of July 6-10, 13-17 and 20-24. Choose one of these weeks for your child to attend or all! The camp runs Monday-Friday from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and the child must attend all week. The cost for this camp is $90/week.
Extended care is available M-F including camps 7a.m – 6p.m that cost $170/week. Weekly themes relate to art camp themes. We will learn about amphibians, mammals, birds and bugs through ART, Creative movement and of course FUN! A camp itinerary will be given to registered students.
