Eighth grade students are hard at work in Mr. Kruse’s eighth grade Future City Enrichment Course. Students are applying research and engineering principles to create a model of a city 100 years in the future.
Engineer Michael Hickox, a Cardinal alumni, has been involved in the process as a volunteer project mentor. Students have already completed an in-depth research essay and virtual component, and are now hard at work on the city model. Congratulations to students Avery V., Jonathan Z., and Katie S. who have been selected to present the project at the Future City state competition in Columbus on Jan. 16.
