Thank you, Mrs. Mansfield! Local donor supports Geauga Park District with $10,000.00 bequest.
Geauga Park District is exceptionally grateful this year for a $10,000.00 bequest received from the trust of Mrs. Dorothy A. Mansfield of Kirtland.
Executive Director John Oros was notified of this generous donation August 18th by a letter from Mrs. Mansfield’s trustee. A donation of this size speaks to the ongoing support of Geauga Park District, he said: “Once again, a very generous donor has placed her faith in this country’s tremendous park system. We provide a system of natural parks with a bounty of plants and animals for people to enjoy, and our donors believe in our mission and our ability to execute our mission on a daily basis.
“We are privileged that Mrs. Mansfield realized these tangible benefits of parks in her community. Donations are always a wonderful tribute to making our parks a better place for our residents. Thank you, Mrs. Mansfield.”
