Join us for demonstrations and an interactive presentation by Jim Klopovic as he discusses his new book The Honest Backpacker: A Practical Guide for the Rookie Adventurer over 50.
Every age will benefit. As he says, “Find Your Way – Take a Hike!” These events are free and open to the public. Registration required.
After two different careers, Klopovic took up backpacking in an attempt to make his retirement memorable and enjoyable. Hiking instantly became a passion, and he wrote The Honest Backpacker with his daughter in order to encourage baby boomers and others to keep moving and discover this same passion. Klopovic has journeyed on parts of the Appalachian Trail, the England Coast-to-Coast Walk, and many more.
