Darrell McNair is not one to boast about his own accomplishments, but he seems to make an impact on his environment, wherever he serves. He has been nominated to numerous boards, but is quick to clarify that none of his board affiliations will have a direct impact on his own company.
Darrell L. McNair is President/CEO of MVP Plastics Corporation in Middlefield. Darrell’s professional achievements include former marketing and finance positions at IBM and Ford, respectively, and entrepreneurial ventures ranging from medical supply, home health care services, construction and retail. Darrell received his Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and his Masters of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.

Darrell McNair’s current and former affiliations include: Chairman, the Presidents’ Council; Board Member of Northern Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (NOMSDC); Playhouse Square Foundation, Great Lakes Science Center, University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center, Kent State University, Cleveland Sports Commission, Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network (MAGNET); Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity; and Chairman of the State of Ohio Minority Development Finance Advisory Board.
Several times a year, GGP hosts Entrepreneur Success Breakfasts as a means to feature Geauga County entrepreneurs and connect them with the Geauga business community. These casual breakfast meetings, presented by GGP’s Entrepreneur Task Force (Christian Klein, Chair) include time to meet and greet, then a brief program where business owners share their stories with the help of a moderator.
