- Cuyahoga Family Canoe (Ages 5+ w/adult) – Saturday, May 19th, 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Eldon Russell Park, Registration opens May 12th
- Lake Kelso Kayak (Ages 12+ w/adult) – Sunday, May 20th, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Burton Wetlands Nature Preserve, Registration opens May 13th
- Nighthawk Canoe Float (Ages 10+ w/adult) – Wednesday, May 30th, 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Eldon Russell Park, Registration opens May 23rd
- “Basic Learn to…” Programs (Ages 10+ w/adult) – Saturday, June 9th, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Bass Lake Preserve, Registration opens May 26th
- Basic Learn to Kayak – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Basic Learn to Canoe – 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Polliwog Paddle Family Canoe (Ages 5+ w/adult) – Sunday, June 10th, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Eldon Russell Park, Registration required by phone beginning June 2nd
- Almost-Summer Kayak (Ages 12+ w/adult) – Sunday, June 17th, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Bass Lake Preserve, Registration opens June 10th
Kayaking is also a beloved part of Geauga Park District’s annual summer camps, offered for youth entering grades 5 through 7 the weeks of June 25th, July 9th, July 16th, July 30th and August 6th, and for teens entering grades 8 through 10 the weeks of June 18th and July 23rd and in single-day “X-treme kayak challenge” form on July 2nd and 5th.
