Artist Creates Magic Dreamscapes in Acrylics

On Tuesday evening, June 18, Gerry Cartor will share several of her thought provoking paintings and three-dimensional art works with the Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG). This educational program, which is free and open to the general public, will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Heinen’s Cafe, 402 Center Street in Chardon, Ohio. No reservations are necessary.

Cartor’s work explores the energy connection between art and healing. As a practicing massage therapist and a graduate of the Ohio College of Massotherapy, Cartor creates art that reflects her compassionate awareness of the relationship between tension, stress, and pain and the ways in which art can replenish the spirit.

Host for the evening will be Geauga’s poet laureate Grace Butcher, who, like Cartor is a long-time Geauga County resident.
The Geauga Arts Network Group is an ad hoc group whose mission is to promote communication, collaboration, and cooperation across artistic disciplines for artists living and/or working in Geauga County. For further information, contact Joanne Durante, 440-729-6481.
