AUTUMN SCOUT DAYS – Dress for the weather and explore Geauga parks to earn scouting credit


Attention Geauga Tiger Cub Scouts, Wolf Cub Scouts, Daisy Girl Scouts, Junior Girl Scouts and parents: Geauga Park District has four Scout Days programs on the schedule this fall season!

Please note that all people attending, including adults, must register in advance at geaugaparkdistrict.org or 440-286-9516. All participants will also enjoy some outdoor activities, so please remember to dress for the weather.

Scout Day: Wolf Cub Scouts “Paws on the Path”

Saturday, October 16, 9:30-11 AM, at The West Woods Nature Center

Work on requirements 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the Paws on the Path Adventure with an indoor introduction and a Nature hike.

 

Scout Day: Junior Girl Scouts “Animal Habitats”

Saturday, October 16, 12:30-2 PM, at The West Woods Nature Center

Join a naturalist to earn your Animal Habitats Badge.

Scout Day: Daisy Girl Scouts “Eco Learner”

Saturday, November 6, 10-11:15 AM, at Big Creek Park, Meyer Center

Join a naturalist to work on your Eco Learner badge with an indoor introduction and a Nature hike.

Scout Day: Tiger Cub Scouts “My Tiger Jungle”

Saturday, November 6, 12:30-1:45 PM, at Big Creek Park, Meyer Center

Let’s take a short hike to learn about plants, animals, and safely exploring the outdoors!
