B. Anthony’s Salon, located at 206 Center Street in Chardon, is moving to a new location. But not to worry, they are literally moving around the corner and (as of February 3) will open their new location next to Weidigs Floral and Brew Works.
The new salon will feature eight hair stations, which is an upgrade from the five they currently have. The stations will showcase a sleek chair that is modern and bold, long black mirrors from IKEA and a neat pine station with crystal knobs. The exposed brick walls will give the salon a modern, loft look.
Also added: A new massage room and a separate client restroom, a larger waiting area for relaxing and a processing area that will be comfortable and peaceful. The hair and nail areas will be separated, but yet together.
The pedicure area will feature three pedicure tubs with a really unique set up. Disposable pedicure liners will give clients security of cleanliness and no fear of bacteria from the previous clients’ being left behind.
Shellac and Gelish options for nails will still be available, as well as the B.Anthony’s Manicure and B. Anthony’s Pedicure: a classic Mani and Pedi featuring a massage and essential oils as well as hot towel wraps for your tired legs.
Massage and waxing services, including the highly sought after Brazilian Wax, will be offered along with spray tanning, rapid tanning, Cinderella hair extensions and Hotheads hair extensions.
Joico Hair color and many Joico retail products will be available. They are also featuring a fun new product called WATERCOLORS. This is a shampoo that stains your hair until you shampoo it out, so it prolongs your color intensity in between visits.
They will have Emily’s natural soaps and creams, and a fun boutique with a variety of items that will be changing by the season.
“Our new look is going to be exciting,” says Jennifer Swartz, owner of B. Anthony’s Salon, “We have changed our font style a bit but maintained our salon logo and colors. KT’s custom logos really hooked us up with a killer sign and super slick window decals.”
“Our salon has a whole new look with open ceilings, track lighting, and some really cool modern light fixtures too. A fun Aztec print couch and a comfy lounge provide a place for kids to start homework after school or a place to plug in electronics to charge up and get out that last email of the day. Our toy box has been a really fun feature for our kids and the sucker bowl that has even our big guys and gals grabbing a little snack while running out the door. We will have a new coffee and tea bar also.”
“We have a new butcher block desk that is one of my favorite items that we purchased from Antiques on the Square. If I didn’t own this place, I would want to be a client here”, Swartz continues.
