On May 18th from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. up to 15 local social service organizations will be on hand for those looking for help to find it. Also people looking to make a positive impact in Geauga County can come find an organization they can volunteer at.

One stop shopping for assistance.

Nearly all of the social service agencies in Geauga county are located in Chardon at the north end of the county. This can lead to people in crisis not realizing what help is available to them. Additionally with no mass transportation available it can be hard to make the 30 – 40 minute drive up to Chardon. To help alleviate this problem Bainbridge Community will be creating one stop shopping for people to come and see what they might have missed or not even known was there.

One Stop Shopping for Volunteers

Many people are looking for ways to make a positive impact in there community, but simply don’t know where to do so. The Expo will give potential volunteers an opportunity to see what places might be a good fit to make that impact.
