The Kiwanis Club of Chardon would like to thank everyone who donated to the food drive during the Concert in the Park on July 18.
With the help of caring community members we were able to raise almost a truckload of food and over $100 in donations that were donated to the Pilgrim Christian Church Food Pantry. “It was a great pleasure to be sitting at the collections table and watching everyone come up,” said Baron Miller project leader for the Chardon Kiwanis Club. “The generosity of our community can clearly be seen.”
The Kiwanis Club of Chardon plans to hold more food drives next year, but until then encourages everyone to make their own direct donations to the food pantry nearest them. For more information on the Chardon Kiwanis Club, please visit the website.
