Cardinal teachers utilized their professional development day on Wednesday, September 2, to participate in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Training. UDL is teaching our educators how to structure class lessons to meet the needs of every student.
A research-based framework, UDL suggests that each student learns in their own unique way, so a one-size-fits-all teaching approach is not always effective. Cardinal teachers will have the opportunity to expand on this training during their professional development time on early release Wednesdays, which start September 15 and run throughout the year.
