CCAT Car and Motorcycle Show Returns for Another Year

The Chardon Community Action Team (CCAT) is pleased to announce the return of our Car and Motorcycle Show. The show, which is in its 14th year, is held each year to provide a fun event for families, residents, and car and motorcycle enthusiasts. This wonderful event would not be possible without the support of our many sponsors including our Supercharged Sponsors Ayrshire, Lake Health, and University Hospitals.

CCAT Car and Motorcycle Show

The Car and Motorcycle Show will take place on August 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the Historic Chardon Square. Starting at noon the band “Remember When” will entertain with music from the 50s, 60s, and Motown that they have become known for in Northeast Ohio. In addition, there will be more than 100 classic or hot rod cars and motorcycles on display, a Chinese auction, a 50/50 raffle, a bake sale, and a full menu of delicious classic food. Most activities are free and those that do have a cost are economically priced for everyone to enjoy.

“When the Chardon Community Action Team started the Annual Car and Motorcycle Show 13 years ago, we wanted to create a fun family event on the Historic Chardon Square,” said Cheryl Pfiester, Chairwoman of the Car and Motorcycle Show. “There is no better way for the whole family to have a good time while supporting a good cause.”

CCAT Car and Motorcycle Show

The CCAT is a coalition of parents, community members, representatives of faith communities, government agencies, law enforcement, and other non-profits. CCAT was formed in response to a teen party in 1999. Parents, educators, youth, law enforcement, and other government officials began to take steps to educate parents and youth about drug and alcohol use; the group also has sought to support youth oriented activities.

Everyone is encouraged to attend this major event to enjoy the classic and hot rod cars and motorcycles, good old-fashioned food, and many other fun activities for the whole family. Registrations are still being accepted for cars and motorcycles, which will be professionally judged. For more information about the day or to register, please visit our website or call 440-537-7316.
