Let’s celebrate your newest Geauga Park District park in August with live music, food trucks and family entertainment – plus experience the park’s awesome ropes course, pump track/single mountain bike track, freeform boulder wall, Nature-based playground and fishing platform!
Claridon Woodlands Opening Celebration brings lots of free family fun on Friday, August 17th, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, August 18th, 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Please note that all parking will be off-site, east of Claridon-Troy Road on Mayfield Road (Rt. 322), with free shuttles ride to/from the event.
Plan your visit, view a complete schedule of activities, and learn when your favorite band will be playing at Geauga Park District under Activities, then Special Events & Art Shows.
Those who celebrate with us can expect origami and balloon artists, face painters, make-n-take crafts with naturalists, stilt walkers and more! Live music includes Chardon Polka Band on Friday, and on Saturday, the Fort Huntsburg Band and the Swamp Rattlers; bring your own chairs and blankets and get comfortable out on the lawn.
Care to enjoy a bike ride as part of your day? Park 2.6 miles away at Mountain Run Station and ride The Maple Highlands Trail all the way to the event!
