The Chagrin Falls Exempted Village Schools Board of Education has reached a three year agreement with the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE) Local 485. The effective dates of the contract are from July 2014 through June 30, 2017 and covers 99 district employees including bus drivers, custodians, secretaries, aides, maintenance and kitchen support staff. The contract was approved at the February 18 Board of Education Meeting.
The agreement includes a 1% increase in salary in each year of the agreement. All other terms within the current contract remain in place.
“We are appreciative of the hard work and dedication of our classified staff as they make a contribution daily to the positive environment provided for our students,” said Robert Hunt, superintendent of the Chagrin Falls Exempted Village Schools. “This is a fair agreement that demonstrates a value of their efforts, as well as an understanding of the critical issues facing the school district.”
