Chardon Tomorrow is pleased to announce that WinterFest 2016 will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16, on the square in downtown Chardon.

The Square will come alive beginning at 2 p.m. for a family fest filled with free horse-drawn wagon rides, ice sculpture displays and carving demonstrations, dog sled races or meet and greet, corn hole games, face painting, hot cider, hot dogs, s’mores, fire pits, raffles, and more.

The grand finale starts at dusk with the spectacular lighting of the Fire & Ice tower designed by Elegant Ice Creations and sponsored by Junction Family Auto Sales.

WinterFest was founded in 2011 as a way of showcasing Chardon as the snow capital of Ohio. The event is made possible through the support of our community partners, including the City of Chardon, Chardon Square Association, Chardon Chamber of Commerce and local businesses including: Alvord Agency Inc., Bass Lake Tavern, Chardon Kiwanis, Chardon Square Association, MapleDale Farm, Marci’s on the Square, ReMax Traditions, The Mane Street Shoppe, The Nest, Universal Disposal, Valentine Antiques, and Wells Fargo Advisors.

Limited sponsorships are still available.
