The Bard’s immortal comedy of love and illusion comes alive onstage. Two young couples flee into the mysterious woods surrounding Athens, along with a motley troupe of amateur actors. Chaos and confusion ensue when the spirits of the forest begin to meddle in human affairs.
This is a magical comedy and one of Shakespeare’s most accessible. The show runs Nov. 12, 13, and 14 at 7 p.m., with a matinee performance at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15, at Park Auditorium on historic Chardon Square.
Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults. Senior Citizens are invited to attend the dress rehearsal free of charge on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m.
