Congratulations to Chardon High School senior James (Jimmy) Yoger on his recent nomination to attend the United States Air Force Academy. James received nominations from both U.S. Congressman David Joyce and U.S. Senator Rob Portman.
It is an extremely rigorous and competitive process to be nominated, which is the first step towards a possible appointment. Jimmy is an Eagle Scout who attended both the US Air Force Summer Seminar and the Naval Summer Seminar last year. Jimmy’s Eagle Scout Project was building the outdoor pavilion at Hambden School.
