Count Maple Max Contest Ends March 31!!

March 31 marks the end of the “Count Maple Max Contest.” It’s simple to play; just pick up a new 2013 Geauga County Visitor Guide and see how many times you can spot that cute little raccoon throughout the pages. All correct responses will be put into a drawing for a Geauga County Get-Away Basket, including an overnight stay and breakfast at Punderson Manor, dinner at Mary Yoder’s Restaurant, theater tickets, maple products, gift certificates for Mel’s Shoes-N-More, Buckeye Chocolates, and much more valued over $300!

Maple Max, the Geauga County Tourism ambassador, began his adventures throughout the county in March of 2010 attending various events and posing for photos. He also writes a monthly column and is featured monthly in the Geauga County Tourism’s Newsletter “Where in the County is Maple Max?” Keep up with his adventures by becoming a fan of Geauga County Tourism on Facebook. Posting photos you have taken with Max is encouraged! To receive the monthly newsletter, or ‘Like’ us on Facebook, links can be found on the website .
