Curtain 440 Takes You to Whoville in Seussical Jr.

Seussical Jr. promises a colorful splash of fun in a drab winter month. Curtain 440’s first
main stage production of 2020 features a cast ages 8-18 in the musical tale of Horton
the elephant who hears a Who, and tries to save their tiny universe living on a clover.
Seussical Jr. features many favorite characters such as The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and
Thing 2, and Gertrude McFuzz, the bird with a one feather tail.

The cast is excited to perform. Hannah Ryan, 16, says “Being in Seussical has been the
wildest theatrical experience I’ve had so far. With only four weeks of rehearsal, the
amount of talent in this cast is insane. The friendships formed are unmatched, and it
shows in our production.” Ava Brennan, 14, agrees. “Curtain 440 is easily the best
theater company I’ve ever been a part of. Angela (Miloro-Hansen) finds a way to bring
fun to everything. Working with this company has helped me take my love of acting to a
new level!”

Seussical Jr. is directed by Angela Miloro-Hansen, owner of Curtain 440, assistant
directed by Janna Klein, with musical director Logan Katoch and choreographer Erica
Lohan. Performances will be January 31 to February 9; Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
and Sundays at 2:00pm. The location is Berkshire High School, 14510 North Cheshire St.
Use the entrance and parking lot to the left of the school. Tickets are $15 for adults and
$12 for students and seniors, and can be purchased at the door or online at
www.curtain440.com/Tickets.
