Workshop: Are You a Good Civil Rights Advocate?

Fri., Feb. 7, 6 p.m.
Mr. Bozeman will take attendees on an independent investigation to ask yourself, “Am I a good Civil Rights advocate?” Mr. Bozeman will share his experiences from the Civil Rights Era in America and his work with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This workshop is intended for students in high school through adult age.

Off-site event: Chagrin Falls Park Community Center, 7600 Woodland Ave, Chagrin Falls
Sat., Feb. 8, noon – 2 p.m.
Mr. Bozeman will share his experiences and insights into Dr. King’s legacy. He will share the impact of Civil Rights struggle in America and how it impacts our community and children. A light lunch, provided by the Chagrin Falls Park Community Center, will be served beginning at noon and Mr. Bozeman will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m.
Clarence Bozeman has taught high school in Alabama and Ohio. He has participated in civil rights demonstrations in Alabama. He has lectured at churches, colleges, and universities on the history of the civil rights movement and Dr. Martin Luther King’s life and legacy. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Alabama State University, where he majored in American History and Social Studies. He received his Master’s in Education Administration from Fordham University in New York City, as well as an Educational Specialist Degree from Cleveland State.
