This interactive training will provide practical insights and tools to help you, and those who lead others in your organization to prevent, recognize, and respond to claims of discrimination and harassment in the workplace.

Key Deliverables:
Participants will be provided a mix of lecture and interactive methods to learn:What organizations should have in place to help prevent claims and ensure actions align with values.How to effectively apply/leverage these to help drive and reward desired behaviors.How to recognize and avoid direct and indirect actions that can increase the likelihood of claims.Steps to take when an employee feels he/she is facing discrimination and harassment.Practical ways to address difficult situations and conversations.

Trainer: Bonnie Troyer is the founder and principal of HR Strategies & Solutions, LLC. 
She has over 24 years of progressive HR leadership experience in large global manufacturing, service, and non-profit environments. She is experienced as an HR expert witness in litigation, acts as a 3rd party investigator of claims, conducts HR assessments and creates and updates employee handbooks for her clients. Bonnie received a master’s degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Cleveland State; a bachelor’s degree in Business from Kent State; and holds a 270 Coaching Certification.
