Hunts dragons & damsels with the experts!
Embrace this opportunity to explore the wetlands of The Rookery with the authors of “The Dragonflies and Damselflies of Northeast Ohio, 2nd ed.” and see what they’re seeing when out hunting dragons and damsels!
What: Dragonflying with the Authors
When: Saturday, August 13 – 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Where: The Rookery, 10110 Cedar Road, Munson Twp.
Larry Rosche, Judy Semroc and Geauga Park District Naturalist Linda Gilbert will take participants in search of our country’s amazing insect jewels – making this a great opportunity to learn from these experts in the field. The authors will be happy to autograph field guides, too, which are available at The West Woods Nature Center and Amazon.com.
Bring your own binoculars and cameras; nets will be available to borrow.
Registration is not required for this program, suited for those school age and up. This walk will not be wheelchair or stroller accessible. Please call 440-286-9516 with questions.
