As parents arrived for Drop Off Night at St. Mary School this fall, they were greeted with new Chrysler vehicles lining the parking lot. Families and community members were asked to take them for a spin, each earning $10 for the school as a part of the Chrysler Drive for Kids Campaign.

Preschool parent and Junction Auto Family sales consultant Shaun Woolard ran through the lot trying to squeeze in 150 drives within the 4 hour test drive window to earn a bonus amount for the school.

The goal was met and, as a result, St. Mary School received $750 extra dollars to bring the grand total donation to $2,340, which will be used for the school’s technology needs. Principal, Mary Petelin said, “The test drive was a unifying event for the school, family and community, and a great way to raise funds for our school.”

Junction Auto Family has been dedicated to helping the community for 85 years and Chrysler brand has long been committed to enriching the lives of students across America. Since 1993, the Chrysler brand and its dealers have worked with parents and educators in communities across the nation contributing over $5 million directly to local schools for student needs.

Shaun Woolard said, “Thank you to St. Mary’s school, faculty and parents who all came out to support the Chrysler Drive for the Kids Event and helped make it a big success! I personally had a blast and I think everyone else did too!”
