Family Camping and Fun Upcoming Events at Heritage Hills

Are you planning on camping this summer or fall? Have you looked into Heritage Hills RV Park in Thompson, Ohio? Sheryl Gusler, writer for Geauga News, has called this her favorite local camping resort. After an initial stay last fall of 2013, she and her husband Duane have made this their new favorite spot where they take the grandkids. After their first weekend visit spent fishing, swimming, playing baseball and frisbee, listening to the music provided, and going on a scheduled hayride event, she had this to say,

“Looking back, I wish everyone could experience the fun of being outdoors and roughing it like we did with the boys. No running water to the cabin, no cell phones or electronic devices, just good natural fun that included sitting around a fire, making S’mores, telling stories, and talking about everything we did that particular day.

In the end Heritage Hills became our home away from home. Don and Cheryl Arnold along with many of the campers started out as friends, but they ended up as family, and we can’t wait to return!”

And they have returned several times since! If you are planning to camp at Heritage Hills, they have some events and deadline dates posted for sign ups. Check out this list, then make plans to attend!
