Family Pride of Northeast Ohio, a family-focused mental health agency, held its first Art Contest on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Five local judges had the difficult task of choosing their favorite artwork from 40 wonderful entries from all ages.

The judges, Clinton Smith, DG Warriors, kids basketball trainer; Judge Forrest Burt, Common Pleas Court; Al Cisan, Fairmount Minerals; Bob Rein, Chardon Eagles, and Mary Mantz, Kenston School District, volunteered their time to come to the Family Pride office in Chardon to learn about the organization and bring the summer long art contest to a close. Winners will be notified on September 19.

All artwork will be on display, and some pieces will be available for purchase, at Family Pride’s Art Auction and Open House on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm located at 695 South Street, Suite 6, Chardon. There will also be several Chinese and silent auction opportunities including Cavs, Nautica Queen, Cleveland Improv tickets and much more!
