Boys golf claims outright CVC title
The Berkshire boys golf team will end the regular season just as they began – as champions. The team won the CVC Valley division boys golf crown yesterday after shooting a 338 at Windmill Lakes Golf Course in Ravenna.
After having lost a regular season match to Kirtland, the Badgers needed to finish ahead of the Hornets to at least claim a share of the championship. The Hornets had a rough day at the course though, finishing in 3rd place and at least 20 strokes behind the Badgers. With the Hornets finishing third, the Badgers claimed the outright title.
Nick Paul shot a 77, and Sam Fisher shot a 79 for the Badgers. Luke Byler, Jarett Smetana, Miles Chapman, and Anthony Granny rounded out the scoring for the Badgers.
6th graders to the airport
Berkshire 6th graders will be visiting the Middlefield airport next Tuesday, September 23, at approximately 9:20 a.m. to fly the airplanes they built and tour the facility.
