Fellowship Bible Church Offers Global Market Holiday Gifts

On Sunday, December 8, from 5 to 8 p.m., Fellowship Bible Church invites holiday shoppers to visit their second-annual Global Market to help people in need throughout the world while also providing the opportunity to purchase meaningful gifts for everyone on shoppers’ gift lists. Fellowship’s Global Market gives you the chance to “buy Christmas presents with a purpose!” Browse the offerings of more than a dozen local, national, and international charitable organizations that have partnered with Fellowship Bible Church to bring purpose to this holiday season. The Church is located at 16391 Chillicothe Road, in Bainbridge.

Shoppers can directly donate to the Chagrin Falls Park Community Center to help stock the Center’s food pantry or cover the cost of resurfacing the Center’s outdoor basketball court. Additional participating organizations include Destiny Rescue (which rescues young victims of human trafficking); Amazima Ministries (helping poor orphans in Uganda); and Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Company (helping coffee farmers around the world earn a fair wage).

Products for sale from these organizations and ministries include jewelry, clothing, soap, tea, coffee, soccer balls, baseball hats, books, stuffed animals, oven mitts, bookmarks and more. In addition, shoppers can purchase fleece pillows and scarves handcrafted by members of Fellowship’s Youth Ministry’s Kid2Kid program to benefit young patients at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and other Cleveland area children in need, through Family Promise, Scranton Road Ministries, and Munoz Elementary School.

The Fellowship Global Market also includes a Kids’ Craft Room where children can create handmade gifts for family and friends while their parents shop at the Global Market. There will be a Global Market Café offering food and drink for everyone who would like to come shop and then have food and fellowship! The café is asking for donations for which the proceeds will benefit the Families with Special Needs Ministry – Breathe.

Tish Luciano, organizer of the market says, “What makes Fellowship’s Global Market different from all the holiday boutiques, craft shows, etc. is the proceeds directly help someone in need! Jewelry made by women coming out of human trafficking, tea and coffee helping farmers in Rwanda, Haiti, etc., pillows and scarves for kids fighting homelessness, poverty, or cancer. Fellowship loves the idea of helping you find gifts for the ones you love and loving those in need! The Global Market helps everyone Unleash Love this holiday season.”
