Tickets are still available for the Friends of WomenSafe BOOTS, BARRELS & GLITZ GALA, Monday, August 14th, 5:30 pm -9:30 pm at Basil Place in Chardon. Robin Swoboda, local personality, will be the Mistress of Ceremonies for the fun-filled evening designed to raise awareness of domestic abuse and funds to assist survivors. Tickets for the event are $85 per person and can be purchased until August 7th.
Highlights will include a long putt contest for a $500 custom putter, a wine pull, many raffle baskets and auction packages. Capping the evening will be a live auction of 7-9 Nights of Oceanview Accommodations (2 rooms) at Pineapple Beach in Antigua!
The Basil Place, located at 13271 Bass Lake Road, Chardon, is a stunning, scenic venue with modern farmhouse appeal. Guests will enjoy the breathtaking country views, while eating dinner courtesy of a Taste of Excellence and sipping hand-crafted cocktails provided by The Thirsty Filly, a mobile bar service using vintage horse trailers.
Music by DuoPhonic will fill the air and an instructor will be on hand to teach some line dancing.
