During the competition, the group was interviewed by judges and then delivered a presentation about their city, its design, infrastructure, and how it addressed this year’s critical problem of waste management. Group advisor Mr. Spence said the students’ innovative use of water resources in their city earned them their special recognition!

Congratulations to the team, which consists of Katie S., Avery V., and Jonathan Z., and a special thanks to Cardinal alumni Michael Hickox for serving as a volunteer engineer on the project!
