Geauga County Library Foundation Celebrates the Launch of New Volunteer Organization with a Party with the Partners

Geauga County – The Geauga County Library Foundation (GCLF) will celebrate the launch if its new volunteer organization with a Party with the Partners event on Sat., Oct. 2, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Geauga County Public Library (GCPL) Administrative Center at 12701 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon.

The Party with the Partners free event will include music, food, sno cones, popcorn, body painting, tours of the Administration Center, and more.  Anyone that signs up to become a Partner on Oct. 2 at the Administrative Center or any GCPL Branches will receive a free T-shirt while supplies last. 

Partners of the GCLF are library champions who actively love and support GCPL. Partners are library ambassadors, volunteers, and people who champion GCPL at every turn. Volunteer opportunities exist for all ages, abilities, and commitment levels.  Processing donated materials, working book sales, helping with events, community outreach, and fundraising are just some of the projects that volunteers can engage with to help GCPL.

There are no set dues to be a Partner of GCLF, but donations in any amount are appreciated. GCLF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that solely supports GCPL.
