Geauga Growth Partnership Adds Crosstex Energy Speaker to October Program

Mark Butta, Director of Commercial for the Ohio River Valley division of Crosstex Energy, will speak at the Geauga Growth Partnership’s October 16 program on shale oil and gas mid-stream market developments. Crosstex Energy, based in Dallas, Texas, is a mid-stream player in several U.S. oil and gas plays, providing pipeline services, natural gas processing, natural gas liquids fractionation and marketing, brine disposal, and crude and condensate marketing services. Butta has over 33 years of professional experience in the Appalachian Basin energy industry and directs commercial activities for Crosstex’s Ohio River Valley assets in Ohio and West Virginia. These include Crosstex’s Ohio River Valley pipeline that services an area extending from Holmes County, Ohio, to central West Virginia.

On October 16, Butta joins Christopher Rioux of Chart Industries, a leading provider of highly engineered cryogenic equipment serving the hydrocarbon market as well as industrial gas and biomedical applications. Mr. Rioux will talk about the Chart experience and why the company expects this to be a huge growth opportunity well into the future. Rioux is Manager of Investor Relations and Financial Planning for the company, headquartered in Bedford Heights, Ohio.

The third speaker, and program moderator for the October 16 program, will be Jim Samuel, Principal of the Capitol Integrity Group in Columbus, Ohio, and a founder of the Ohio Shale Coalition. Samuel, who was a popular speaker at the 2012 GGP Annual Meeting, will describe recent developments in Ohio’s Utica shale play and provide an overview of announced capital investments in mid-stream processing and transport facilities.

This program is intended for any Geauga County business owner or manager who needs to understand the mid-stream market opportunities for his/her businesses products or services in the mid-stream shale oil and gas play.

The program begins at 8:00 a.m. with a complimentary breakfast at the Newbury Business Park, 12373 Kinsman Road, Newbury, 44065. The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 10:00 a.m. Register via EventBrite at https://ggpshaleoilandgasoct2013.eventbrite.com.
