Treasure hunters at the semi-annual Burton Antiques Market were far from tree stands on the first-day of bow-hunting season Saturday, September 28. More than 400 antique dealers displayed a variety of items at the Geauga County Fairgrounds, 14373 N Cheshire St, Burton, OH 44021.
“The show was a huge success!” says Bill Puchstein, who manages the event with his wife, Kay. “There were a record number of customers (over 6,000) and outstanding sales reported by dealers.”
The market offers the chance to purchase silver, fine china, jewelry, porcelain, glassware, textiles, paintings, Americana, garden furniture, decorative accessories, rugs, primitives, old tools, and much more. There are plenty of food vendors in attendance, too. It’s not too soon to plan: next years’ Burton Antiques Festival dates are June 14, 2014 and September 27, 2014.
