The Geauga Lyric Theater Guild (GLTG), an arts organization located in Chardon, is sponsoring a membership drive throughout the month of January.
In addition to demonstrating their support for the arts in the local community, members of the GLTG are entitled to additional benefits, including voting privileges at business meetings, invitations to special events and show discounts, reduced fees for this summer’s workshops and for classes (beginning fall 2014), and access to a members only section on the website featuring the quarterly newsletter.
“So many people support us by attending GLTG productions or by signing up for one our many educational programs, but don’t realize they can easily become a Guild member. A strong membership would enhance our efforts to secure grants as well as broaden our volunteer base,” states Bonnie Robbins, a Board member and membership spokesperson. “We are working to improve our communication with our members and to provide more social opportunities.”
Membership fees are $10.00 for seniors (age 62 and up) or students; $15.00 for adults; and $25.00 for a family membership. Supporters may download a registration form from the GLTG website or obtain one at the Geauga Theater Box Office (101 Water St., Chardon,OH) open Wed-Fri. 4-7 pm; Saturday 1-5 pm or through the GLTG business office at 106 Water St., Chardon, open Tues-Thursday, 10 am to 5 pm. For additional information call the business office at 440-285-7701 during office hours.
