Here are our offerings for January, February and March 2025. For those requiring it, registration opens December 20 at 10 a.m. for Geauga County residents online at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org, then December 27 at 10 a.m. for out-of-county folks, and can also be done by calling 440-286-9516.
The following list is also published on our website and in our quarterly Park Explorer Activity Guide, which is mailed to every Geauga County household and available to peruse in all county libraries. Please just be sure to check the website for your chosen program or event before heading out, as all are subject to be changed or cancelled. Geauga Gems Trekking Series Registration
January 1-September 30
Free for Geauga residents, $10 for out-of-county residents
Sign up to participate in our annual trekking series in this, “the year of the topaz,” by hiking a minimum of four trails each season to earn your commemorative sticker for the year (and trekking pole if you’re a first-time finisher). Registration required.

Learn to Cross Country Ski

A monthly series to learn basic journaling techniques to record your Nature observations. This month our inspiration will be outside our wildlife window. We will also be setting up our journal for success throughout the year. Taking photos is optional. First-time participants must pay $20 for Geauga residents or $24 for out-of-county residents to purchase a new journal, pen and other supplies. Those who attended the series before, but not within the calendar year, must pay $10 for Geauga residents or $12 for out-of-county residents to cover additional instruction and supplies.
