Get Septic Smart!

Preventative maintenance of your septic not only extends the life of the system, but also protects your investment, our water resources, and the public health.

Join the Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District, Geauga Public Health, and the Middlefield Library during national “SepticSmart” week for a free, in-person SepticSmart program on Thursday, September 22nd from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the Middlefield Library.

Resource professionals with Geauga Public Health will discuss how a home septic system works, how to maintain your home sewage treatment system, and what to do when it appears to not be working properly.  This program is free, but reservations are required due to limited seating.

To register visit https://geaugalibrary.libcal.com/event/9111862 or call 440-632-1961.  This program is part of the 2022 Safeguarding Our Streams: Stormwater, Phase 2, and You education series.
